Mild tremor in southern Bulgaria

A mild tremor measuring 2.5 on the Richter scale was registered in the southern Bulgarian town of Blagoevgrad.

The tremor happened at around 8.30am on February 12 2010, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.

The epicentre of the tremor was around 79km south of Sofia and around 14km south-east of Blagoevgrad.

No information on damage or casualties was available yet.
