Fortunately, the 51-year-old victim managed to avert her face and suffered only minor injuries.

Men are the perpetrators of 92 per cent of cases of domestic violence, with lack of money, drunkenness and childhood psychological trauma as causal factors, researchers suggest, in a media report two days before March 8, International Women’s Day.
The funding is provided under the foreign military sales programme of the US army's Program Executive Office of Simulation, Training and Instrumentation.

Life time in prison is the best way to punish any crime. Since the life is over for a person after he is behind bars. Years and years of misery, suffering and such. Death is an easy way out.
Why life in prison? Sit around and contribute nothing costing a small fortune. Chinese solution of a bullet in the back of the head is much more in line with justice and logic.
maybe some of us here should exchange messenger ID's. What about alcohol? Did anyone smell that?
Why not spray them with some acid after few years in prison and set them free, why give them food and shelter for free the rest of their shitty lives?
"It is simply wrong to deform somebodies face because person doesn't approve the looks of some body."
Kavacik that goes without saying.
Your comment was essentially "smells like racism in BG" and my point was that based on the article, your grounds for your assumption were as good as mine, and in both cases our reasonings would reflect our respective prejudices. So no, I am not dumping on Islam (in this case at least) but illustrating the other side of the coin of your unfounded presumption.
(I know [...]
Read the full comment you are a Bulgarian Turk, so it's easy to guess what type of racism you are implying, without you mentioning it by name - still like you though;)
Valery, I'm little disappointed. As you can see in my comments I have not pointed fingers to any nationality or any persons religious affiliations. I personally wouldn't give a damn what religion or group they belong to. It is simply wrong to deform somebodies face because person doesn't approve the looks of some body.
"I smell racial motivation in these acid attacks."
How so kavacik?
Where did the article indicate this? Aren't we humans so predictable that way? As the lawyers say - "looking for facts to justify our feelings".. while we do this, let me suggest my facts that will justify my feelings:
Frankly I smell Islam here. Small town in the south, young women in a night club - you do the math... "buried alive for boyfriends" rings a bell?
Indeed very sad!!! This article has been one of the top stories last few days, and has been read by over 500 hundred people, but it is very unfortunate, that nobody has condemned the action of few who have committed this heinous crime.
I smell racial motivation in these acid attacks. I hope Mr, B.Borissov means what he preaches and shows to those sadist who satisfy their sadistic tendencies by attacking innocent people, that there is no place for racism in Bulgarian society.
Great! You got what you pay for.
Death is too good for someone who would do this to another human being.
