An European arrest warrant has been issued for Nikolai "The Little Margin" Marinov, Interior Minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov told reporters on January 27 2010.

Marinov was declared a wanted man by a Bulgarian court on January 13 2010 after he broke the terms of his bail.

Marinov and his older brother, Krassimir, dubbed "The Big Margin", were due to appear in court on charges of conspiring to murder three people, two of whom are already dead.

Both brothers were freed on 20 000 leva bail but because Nikolai Marinov failed to appear in court on January 13 2010, he has broken his bail terms and the authorities have declared him a wanted man. His lawyers told the court they did not know his whereabouts.

Both brothers are also being investigated in relation to the murder of former radio host Bobbie Tsankov, who was shot dead in Sofia on January 5 2010. Police had already alleged that the brothers had conspired to murder Tsankov.

The older brother, Krassimir Marinov, has been under arrest since January 5 2010. He is also charged with heading an organised crime ring and drug distribution.
