Mild earthquake detected in Bulgaria

A weak tremor was registered in southeast Bulgaria near Gurmen, Municipality of Blagoevgrad, the Bulgarian news agency (BTA) said on January 28 2010.



The jolt, measuring 3.2 on the Richter scale struck at 8.43am Bulgarian time, the Seismological Institute in the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS) said.

 

The epicenter was some 120km southeast from Sofia. There are no reports of damages
