Levski Sofia right back Zhivko Milanov is almost certain to be offloaded to Swiss FC Aarau during the winter transfer window after the management boards of both clubs have apparently agreed on the deal, Dnevnik daily reported on December 6 2010.

Reportedly, Milanov, aged 25, is already in Switzerland where he is due to pass a medical and negotiate his personal terms with the club.

"We have reached an agreement with FC Aarau. For the moment I can't say that the transfer is 100 per cent certain as Milanov still has to put pen to paper. However, the sum offered to us by the Swiss club is more that satisfactory" the Blues' executive director Konstantin Bazhdekov was quoted as saying by Dnevnik.

According to Sportal.bg, Levski Sofia will sell the player for 500 000 euro.

Milanov was linked with a move to German side Koln in August 2009 which collapsed following an injury he sustained in a Bulgarian league match against Minyor Pernik. Levski Sofia have already acquired a replacement in defence, having retrieved Stefan Stanchev who was on loan to Pirin Blagoevgrad in the autumn.

Meanwhile, the alleged transfer of Hristo Yovov to Romanian side Steaua Bucharest has stalled because he could not agree on personal terms with the club. Other Levski players who could be offloaded during the winter transfer window are Darko Tasevski, and Brazilians Ze Soares and Joaozinho.

Levski Sofia are currently fifth in the Bulgarian league with 26 points from 15 rounds. Litex Lovech lead the table with 35 points, followed by CSKA Sofia in second with 31 and Lokomotiv Sofia in third with 28.
