Photo exhibition The Arab World in Focus in Sofia

A photo-exhibition under the title The Arab World in Focus is to be on shown in parallel to the Flowers of the Koran festival between January 14 and February 18 in Sofia's Dom na Kinoto cinema hall.

The film festival and the exhibition present the film and culture of the Middle East and North Africa, a media statement from the organizers said on January 6 2010.

The photographs in the exhibition were taken by Bulgarian amateur photographers who visited Arab countries, among which Algeria, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine and Syria. Among the photographers were Bulgarian rangers in Iraq, organizers said.

The is organised by the Forum for Arab culture Mahmoud Daru.
