Serbian president Boris Tadic will spent January 6 and 7 2010, the days celebrated by Serbian Orthodox Christians as Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, at the Visoki Decani monastery in Kosovo, his office said.

Plans for the visit had caused controversy given the sensitive nature of making the arrangements, because Serbia regards the government in Pristina as illegitimate.

Tadic’s office said that the EU authorities had been informed according to an already established procedure, according to Belgrade-based news agency Tanjug.

The visit had been approved by the Kosovo government, media reports said.

Serbian news agency Beta, quoting Radio Free Europe’s Albanian service, said that Kosovo deputy prime minister Ram Manaj had said that Pristina had decided to allow Tadic’s visit, but that this was agreed according to conditions including that Tadic "not abuse the visit for political speeches".

Well done... .

I consider that it is a good thing to give visa to all foreign citizens, including serbian ones asking to enter in Rep. of Kosova, who act in full respect to the rules of the country.

Let see how this foreign citizen will use this privilege and if will be any abuse of it other rules will be applyed.
