Visitors to Bulgaria’s winter mountain resorts urged not to go hiking and anyone moving from place to place should allow enough time to do so.
Pamporovo authorities believe that with the inauguration of the new border crossing point between Bulgaria and Greece at Zlatograd, many people in northern Greece will visit the resort
Skiers will be able to enjoy the delights of the mountain for 35 leva a day.
The tax, levied on hotel owners, is calculated based on occupancy rate in the hotel, but assumes that at least 30 per cent of a hotel's rooms are booked at all times.
Most will be from Romania, followed by Greeks, then Serbians, Macedonians and Montenegrins.
Despite the warmer weather, this past winter’s record snowfall will enable the resort to offer skiing until mid-April.
'How much longer must this madness go on?' ask UK airlines worried that planned increase will kill jobs and quash tourism-led recovery.

Maybe we need to wait till the judges need to be rescued? Why not work together with surrounding countries to cover a bigger area and lower the costs?
I agree with Dianne give the money to the Judges as they are far more deserving than this rescue operation. So a few tourists die, big deal, who in this country cares about a dead tourist or anyone else for that matter. Why not give all ex PM's a big xmas bonus as well as they too are thoroughly deserving and the ex forestry bosses and all mp's from ethnic minority parties
4 million, over 3 years. Not exactly a huge amount given how much the winter tourism market brings in. Although I don't see why the taxpayer should cough up - increase the cost of rescue as its covered by the insurance companies anyway and its a fraction of the cost you'll be charged in the Alps.
Why should they get such funds, its not as if winter tourism in the mountains generates 15% of the countries GDP. You'd be better off giving 24 Million Levs to the Judges as a bonus.
Pillocks. Put the money where its needed.
