Although El Puente passed away in 2000, his orchestra has continued to perform. Now, almost a decade after the death of the king of the timbales, the orchestra with which he performed until the end is about to hit Bulgaria for the first time.

On December 8 at 8pm the Tito Puente Orchestra was scheduled to perform together with the Queen of Latin Soul Yolanda Duke, in Hall 1 of Bulgaria's National Palace of Culture (NDK), according to a media statement from organizers.

The concert was part of a tour on the occasion of the release of the joint album Many Moods, which included a unique mix of mambo, salsa, Latin jazz, guaguanko, Guarache and cha-cha-cha, organizers said.

The concert takes place at NDK's Hall 1 and starts at 8pm.

Tickets are available from the ticket centre at NDK and cost between 10 and 60 leva.
