Four months after Bulgaria's new Government took office, the National Audit Office (NAO) published the official statements of the assets of the new Cabinet ministers.
The data did not include information on Prime Minister Boiko Borissov's assets and a number of other ministers because all of them had held public positions before becoming ministers, NAO told The Sofia Echo.
As such, they already had filed declarations in 2008 and this year had notified the NAO that there was no changes to their assets. Before becoming Prime Minister, Boiko Borissov was mayor of Sofia.
In 2008, Borissov reported ownership of two plots of land in Sofia's Bankya and Dragalevsti boroughs, bank deposits of 125 000 leva and nothing else.
