Turkish police arrest Bulgarian for attempted bank fraud

Police in Istanbul arrested three Bulgarian for attempted bank machine fraud, Bulgarian news agency BTA said.

The three had installed electronic skimming devices to read bank cards at the ATM of a Turkish bank. The installation was uncovered by bank security staff, who warned the police.

The were suspects were arrested when they attempted to withdraw money from an ATM, BTA said.

The men are held in custody, while the investigation continues.
