Three Bulgarians arrested in Moscow, embassy says

Russian authorities have officially confirmed that three, not four Bulgarian nationals, have been arrested in relation to investigation into illegal software production, private national channel bTV quoted officials at the Bulgarian embassy in Moscow as saying on November 6.

Until now, Bulgarian media speculated that there were four arrested Bulgarians.

The three detained Bulgarians are employees at the Millennium 2001 company and have been detained for 48 hours. After they are questioned, police would decide whether to press charges against them or not, bTV said.

Bulgaria's embassy said that it was following the case carefully should the three Bulgarians need any legal help.

Inappropriate comment?

There are many properties in the form of Soviet army memorials in Bulgaria which do not have diplomatic status, and this would be the perfect time for them to be removed from Bulgarian soil. It is becoming hard to contain Russia’s criminal excesses and disregard for the international law, more the reason for the removal of the nasty reminder of the Russian occupation during 1944-1945!
