George, this commercial will not bring anything to Kosovo. Like I said, it would not inspire me to even visit Kosovo (unless I had relatives there), let alone invest my money there.
What exactly is in this commercial that encourages businesses around the world to invest? Doesn't even look like a holiday destination.

I have seen the ad and I can tell you it sucks. I wouldn't even get me to holiday there let alone invest.
What exactly does this ad show in order to get investors in?
Have to spend money for make money. This is a good step. Good luck to you kosovars. Feature is bright. Stay together, shoulder to shoulder. This way no one can stop your progress. Long life to independent Kosova.Rrofte populli i kosoves.
Speculate to accumulate. This is long term strategy Kosovo is taking. Smart move.
soooooooooooo great spot
Vanko is right. The BBC still doesn't take paid advertising (I watch it every day in the UK, and it doesn't.)
Mind you, the concept of "awareness raising" by TV media is quite a sound one, just a bit expensive.
THIS IS THE MOST WONDERFUL ADD EVER. TOO BAD SERBS ARE LEFT POOR AND STILL COMENTING ON RATHER IT SHOULD OR IT SHOULD'NT. We are doing it rather than talking about it. Empty cans always make most of the noise.
since when does the BBC take advertising revenue. I thought its whole purpose was to be independent of brainwashing advertising campaigns
Companies don't invest 50 million dollars because of a flashy 60-second TV commercial. They invest because of working infrastructure, transparency in government (no corruption), availability of trained workers, etc.
Ау шта је шиптара... Косово и Метохија је Србија!
@Behi: This doesn't have to do anything with recognitions. The ads are supposed to attract investors.
I think it's worth it. I mean if one company comes and invests 50 or more mils in Kosovo then the ad does its job.
I agree that the money could be better spent on creating a better country, rather than a country with a better image.
I am sure the hope is that this will attract foreign investment, although I think that Kosovo would do better by spending less time seeking foreign investment and more time in organic growth within Kosovo.
why US, Europe and Turkey , it should be spend somewhere else , like Malaysia , Asia Africa. to me this is waste of time and money . Kosovo has been recognized by all those countries where it intends to buy ad space.
5 million euros could have been MUCH BETTER spent in Kosova right now! Unemployment, health, education - take your pick!
What a waste of money!
Sounds like a great idea. Best of luck to you Kosova!
