Arriving only hours before their concert on October 21 2009, ZZ Top was met by a convoy of fans, fake beards and all.

The American rockers are visiting Bulgaria as part of their Double Down Live tour.

The convoy, which escorted the band from the airport to Stadion Akademic where the concert is to take place, included choppers from Bulgarian motorclub Bad Company.

Tickets for the concert were still available via the Eventim network, priced between 50 and 80 leva, organisers said.
