Cleaning Perlovska river in South Park planned for October 10

The Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds together with Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria company will mark the start of their 2009/10 My Green City initiative by cleaning the Perlovska river banks in Sofia's Yuzhen Park (South Park) on Saturday, October 10 2009.

Organisers invite everyone who wishes to join them in the cleaning of the river banks which will start at 11am at the central stage of the park close to the entrance from Vitosha boulevard.

Children can enjoy a number of fun initiatives planned by organisers who wish to turn this in a family event.

My Green City initiative is held for a second consecutive time with the purpose of keeping Sofia clean.
