Large swathes of Sofia boroughs, or parts of them, will be without hot water on October 7-8, due to technical repairs conducted by Toplofikatsyia Sofia heating company, Dnevnik daily reported on October 7 2009.

Hot water will be cut in the morning hours until 1pm in Razsadnika, Ilinden and Krassna Polyana.

Meanwhile, in Lyulin 3,4 and 5 districts, as well as residential blocks along Lyulin Planina street, Pencho Slaveikov Boulevard, Hristo Stanchev Street, and Dospat Street the water supply will be cut until 10pm.

On October 8, hot water will be shut until 7pm in the entire borough of Motopista, along the Kostenski Vodopad Street, Boulevard Gotse Delchev, Sreburna Street and Metlichna Polyana Street.

Rehabilitation works conducted by Toplofikatsyia Sofia are expected to be completed by the evening of October 8, the report has said.
