Police made more than 150 arrests after the football derby between Levski Sofia and CSKA Sofia on September 20.

Fans of Levski Sofia football team were detained after perpetrating damage to rubbish bins and staionary vehicles, the Interior Ministry reported.

Trouble was reported even before the match began. A knife was thrown against a police officer in central Sofia. A brawl also erupted between rival supporters at the stadium.

Police reported damage to two buses, one trolley car and one tram.

The derby between the two teams, who have a history of enmity between them, ended with a 2-0 victory for CSKA.
