The 10th edition of hip-hop festival Jam on It will open on September 17 in Smolyan and the event is set to last until September 20.

The anniversary also coincides with the 25th anniversary of Sleepwalkingz's creation, one of the oldest and most renowned break acts in Europe.

The event has been attracting a lot of attention from musicians as far afield as the United States, Asia and all over Europe, Dnevnik daily has reported. As such, due to its history and established traditions, the festival is celebrated among music fans and artists for its tradition in presenting and promoting jazz, house, funk and hip hop music.

This year's edition will feature more than 200 participants from around the world, including American dance formation Urban Artistry.

Urban Artistry's core group consists of an international collective of artists, dancers, orators, designers, vocalists, musicians, photographers and educators, emphasising the authentic and complete representation of urban dance genres. They include, but are not limited to,  B-Boying / B-Girling , Popping, Locking, Hip –Hop, House Dance and Vogue.

Their celebration of the African, Latin, Happy Feet, Lindy, Caribbean Movement, Martial Arts and American Social Dances has influenced the movement now referred to as Urban Dance.
