Michael Shields' story in bookshops soon

The UK's Chester Chronicle is reporting that Michael Shields' autobiography My Story will be hitting stores on September 21.

Although he was only released on September 9, his "story" would appear to have been long in the pipeline. The website quotes a price of 8.99 pounds sterling to pre-order the book. Click on the link to buy the "autobiography" and you find Shields' slim-lined face peering from the cover.

"Michael Shields: My Story is the first-hand account of the Liverpool fan whose dream trip to a Champions League final in Istanbul turned into a nightmare," reports the Chester Chronicle.

The newspaper continues: "After watching his beloved Reds win the European Cup in 2005, Shields' happiness turned to horror as he ended up behind bars convicted of an attack on a Bulgarian waiter that he was adamant he did not commit."

Shields, who was freed on September 9 2009 after four years in jail, in Bulgaria and the UK, has described his incarceration as "a living hell".

Wonderful. Not only this scum-bag was released and is being treated as a hero, now he's also gonna get rich off an attempted murder of an innocent man he didn't even know prior to the incident. What a world we live in.

A disgusted Liverpool supporter.

Do you believe a killer will say "I did it."? Because if you do you are idiots (all of you). I am not against him being let out of prison but it doesn't change the fact he tried to kill a human being and we are lucky he didn't succeed in that.

The scum.
Paralize an innocent person, and just because he happens to be Bulgarian, walk and get rich selling your stupid stories to your ugly compatriots...
