I agree 100% with Jon! What the BG president is doing is lame and shows weakness! About being stuck in he middle, well that is true statement too...unpleasant, but true, and yet, we know it since forever and should have learned untill now how to deal with it!

This isn't Russians vs Bulgarians, but Russia vs EU.
We are kind of stuck in the middle, but this is the fate of a small country located on a crossroads.
Purvanov's record in politics is less than enviable. However, as president he must support the elected government and not shoot at them from the safety of the presidency. It is un-presidential and shows a lack of honour and integrity. He may well place the Russians above the Bulgarians, but the decisions are not his to make.
