At least bombings in BG are of business/personal nature. I am so glad that our mentality isn't prone to ideological conviction any more. I think 50 years of ideology over self-interest, has cured us from such infliction.
I think corruption and self-enrichment is under-appreciated as a social quality. The biggest mass murders in history, didn't even have bank accounts - Hitler, Stalin and Mao.

Greece's infrastructure is horrible, its a very backwards EU State I have been to Greece many times in the last 4 years.
