Containers for old and disused electrical appliances in Sofia

Starting on August 4, Sofia will be able to dispose their old and disused electrical appliances in specially designated containers which will be collected for recycling with the aim of preventing any potential contamination to the environment, according to a press statement from Sofia municipality.

The municipality's administration has commenced the operation in conjunction with the organisation entrusted with collecting and utilising the disposed electrical appliances, Eltech Resource.

The specially made containers will be deployed around strategic places in all Sofia boroughs from 10am until 7pm. For larger appliances,  which cannot fit in the containers, you can call mobile collection units on the following number: 0800 14100

For further information regarding the schedules and exact location where the aforementioned containers will be positioned in each and every borough, visit the Eltech Resource website at  www.eltechresourse.com

Alternatively, additional information is available from Sofia municipality at 02/ 9377 550 or at Eltech Resource, 02/ 492 18 00 and 02/ 492 18 01.
