Bulgarian firefighters are celebrating their national holiday on September 14. To mark the occasion, this week numerous demonstrations and safety procedures will be conducted around the country and in Sofia, according to a a press release from the Interior Ministry.
Fire, said to have started on dry grass on private land, spread close to a local hotel, destroyed 30ha of forest and disrupted traffic between Varna and Bourgas.
