Sofia mayor and prime minister-to-be Boiko Borissov formally submitted his list of cabinet ministers to President Georgi Purvanov on July 23.

Borissov's list featured nominations for 15 ministries, three fewer than in the outgoing Cabinet of Socialist Prime Minister Sergei Stanishev. Borissov will have two deputy prime ministers, rather than three as in the outgoing cabinet.

Purvanov will forward the list to Parliament, which will vote on July 27 on whether to approva the new government..

Borissov's Citizens for the European Development of Bulgaria (GERB) party won 116 seats in the 240-seat Parliament, but the right-wing Blue Coalition, ultra-nationalist Ataka party and the centre-right Order, Law and Justice party all said that they would support Borissov's cabinet when put to the vote in Parliament

The list of Borissov's nominees for cabinet ministers follows.

Traicho Traikov - economy, energy and tourism minister

Roumyana Zheleva - foreign minister

Nikolai Mladenov - defence minister

Margarita Popova - justice minister

Totyu Mladenov - labour and social policy minister

Yordanka Fandukova - education, youth and science minister

Bozhidar Nanev - healthcare minister

Miroslav Naidenov - agriculture and food industry minister

Rossen Plevneliev - regional development minister

Nona Karadjova - environment and water affairs minister

Alexander Tsvetkov - transport, communications and information technologies minister

Vezhdi Rashidov - culture minister

Svilen Neikov - sport minister

Bozhidar Dimitrov - minister without portfolio
