Earth tremor near Blagoevgrad in Bulgaria

An earthquake measuring three on the Richter scale,  epicentred near Blagoevgrad, about 90 km southwest of the capital city Sofia, was registered at 4.26pm on July 19 2009, the Emergency Situations Ministry said
 
The ministry was citing data from the Seismological Centre at the Institute of Geophysics of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. No victims or damage were reported, the ministry said.
