Two teenagers drown in Razgrad

Two teenagers, aged 13 and 19, drowned in a lake near the village of Sushevo, Razgrad municipality, on July 5, the municipal directorate of the Ministry of Interior, Razgrad has said in a press statement.

The tragic incident occurred late on June 5, after 8pm. The body of the younger boy was discovered by a 43-year-old man from the same village. On the water bank, he also discovered shoes and clothes. Noting that there were two pairs of shoes and clothing, however, he suspected that perhaps someone else was also in trouble.

The corpse of the second teenager was found a little while later.

Both bodies have been taken to the MBAL Hospital in Razgrad, where autopsies will be performed. The Ministry of Interior has opened an official investigation into the cases.
