How pathetic, English citizen talks about how he is depressed to see, how the Turks once have horrified Bulgarians and now still have influence on Bulgarian Politics.I suggest, before you make any comments about other people, learn your own history. What do you think British did to those colonized countries? Why do you think British palaces full of reaches? Unlike the Ottomans, the British sucked the blood of those colonized countries. We as Bulgarian born Turks have every right to be there. My great, great grand fathers father was born on these lands. Bulgarian political figures should stop using Turks for their scape goats. Bulgaria has been over 130 years free country. If they couldn't put their economical house in order it is not the Turks fault,it is their own. The Turks in Bulgaria are hard and honest working people. If the Bulgarian communist regime hadn't kicked out the Turks in 1989 today the Bulgarian economy would have been in better shape.
John, what about Brits in Zimbabwe? do you feel its fair that their lands are taken away and bank accounts are frozen? Its exactly the same, indeed what you are saying is history. it has nothing to do with Turkish community in Bulgaria using their democratic right to vote.
