GERB will have 115 seats in Parliament - Alfa Research

Based on its exit polls, Alfa Research projects that Boiko Borissov's party GERB will have 115 of the 240 seats in Bulgaria's next Parliament, according to a broadcast on Bulgarian National Television after polls closed on July 5 2009.

The Bulgarian Socialist Party will have 42, the Movement for Rights and Freedoms 35, Ataka 21, the Blue Coalition 17 and Order Law and Justice 10, according to Alfa Research.

Hristo Kovachki's LIDER has won none and Simeon Saxe-Coburg's National Movement for Stability and Progress, which was the majority partner in government from 2001 to 2005 and a minority partner in the outgoing coalition Cabinet, none.
