Bringing down the social security burden by five percentage points. More efficient VAT refund process. Lowering the number of licences issued by state bodies as a way to minimise corruption and ease business.

Maintaining the currency board stability and a new privatisation strategy. A programme for prevention of tax frauds. One euro threshold for starting a limited liability company. State assistance in developing projects applying for EU funding. A nationwide network of high-tech parks, high-tech labs, scientific and research centres.

Constriction of Lyulin and Trakiya highways by the end of Parliament’s term. Rehabilitation of second class road network and introducing EU models on regulating traffic.

Developing broadband access to internet, including through mobile and satellite links. Development of virtual social networks on the internet.

Priority on renewable energy sources. Maintaining the role of nuclear energy with improved safety of Kozloduy nuclear power plant and support for the construction of Belene plant, but as a private project. Improving central heating services and preserving the role of coal mines while at the same time meeting environmental standards.

Developing the system of 55 regional refuse sites. Increasing protected areas in the country, to the European Union average of 12 per cent of the territory.

Measures aimed at keeping unemployment levels down. Optimisation of the period people in active age can use social welfare. Changes to the labour legislation aimed at introducing new forms of employment. Making the studying of English and a secondary foreign language obligatory in secondary education.

Strengthening the role of school boards. Optimisation and restructuring of the health sector and making patients the centre of the health care system. Full refund of families expenses on in-vitro procedures. Increase of aid to children with disabilities.

Mobility and rotation of public officials on positions of high risk of potential corruption opportunities. Legislative changes to the Local Administration and Interior Ministry acts.
