Kaliakra Rock Fest 2009 ticket update - all three day passes must be replaced

Motley Crue

An official statement from the organisers of the Kaliakra Rock Fest has announced that in order to facilitate the flow of human traffic in and out of the festival site over the course of the three-day event, fans are urged to report to a specifically allotted kiosk and EXCHANGE their tickets in advance.

At the Kavarna stadium starting July 1 from 2pm, a marquee will be raised where all three-day tickets will have to be submitted and replaced with special bracelets. The bracelets will subsequently act as passes. Electronic tickets have to be relinquished as well.

Those who have purchased a ticket for a single day event are not subjected to the new regulation.

The gates at Kaliakra stadium will be open at 6pm on July 1-3. The confirmed bill of the festival until now features Motley Crue and Lauren Harris (the daughter of Iron Maiden's Steve Harris) on July 1, Scorpions, Blind Guardian and Edguy on July 2 and Cynic and Dream Theater on July 3.

Tickets for the festival are available at the ticket centre of the National Palace of Culture (NDK), www.ticketstream.bg and www.eventim.bg

A single day ticket is priced at 55 leva, whereas the three-day pass is 100 leva.
