The forthcoming festival Rock the Balkans on June 29 2009, will be held in Zala Festivalna and not, as previously announced, in Stadion Akademik, an official statement from the festival organisers said.

Headliners of the event will be American nu-metal band Limp Bizkit, which will perform in Bulgaria for the first time with its original lineup, Bulgarian broadcaster Avtora.com said.

Limp Bizkit began their world tour in the spring of 2009, playing different festivals across Europe. Among the countries included in their tour are Ukraine, Russia, the Baltic states, as well as prominent metal festivals Rock am Ring at Nurburgring and Rock im Park at Frankenstadion, in Germany.

Special guests in the festival will be American metal-legends Queensryche, and Turkish nu-metal/rap outfit Manga.

The programme of the festival also includes Canadian progressive rock band Saga and Bulgarian outfit Skre4.

Tickets for the Rock the Balkans festival are on sale at the Ticketstream partner stores, at prices from 65 to 90 leva.
