Montenegro has confirmed first swine flu case

Montenegro is the latest Balkan country to be hit by the global pandemic of the H1N1 strain. A young patient who studied in the United States was confirmed to have contracted the virus, Reuters has reported on June 22.
 
Subsequently, local authorities are alerting people who were in close contact with the person, asking them to report to a hospital immediately, should they "develop the flu symptoms"
 
"The patient, a native of Montenegro's coastal city of Bar, was studying in the U.S... He arrived by plane from New York, via Munich to Podgorica," Miodrag Radunovic said, quoted by Reuters.
 
Reportedly, the person’s condition is not critical. He was admitted to the local Podgorica hospital where his condition was said to have ben caught at an early stage. The man is said to be improving.  
 
"He no longer has a fever," Radunovic said.
