UniCredit Bulbank wins One Life Charity's Annual Football Sixes' Event

The team of UniCredit Bulbank won One Life Charity's Annual Football Sixes' Event with a 4-1 victory over the team of Tullabassy Wanderers on June 21 2009.

Pavel Bochev from the winning team scored seven goals in six matches, which made him the top scorer of the tournament.

A total of 128 players took part in this year's event, which was held at the National Sport Academy (NSA) in Sofia. Entrance fee per team was 500 leva. Proceeds this year will go for repair works at the St Dimitar children’s home in the town of Koula, northern Bulgaria. Children from the home were special guests at the event.

Each team consisted of six players (five outfield plus goalkeeper) plus a maximum of two substitutes. The teams played a round robin and the top two from each group went to the quarter-final stage. Three points were awarded for a win and one point or a draw.
