A round table conference will begin on June 19 in the northeastern sea town of Kavarna. The conference will be entitled "Development of wind energy parks in Bulgaria – synchronously with nature conservation". The organisers are the European parliament, the municipality of Kavarna and the producers of environment-friendly energy in the country.

The round table will be inaugurated by the Economy and Energy Minister, Petar Dimitrov. Participants will include other economic and energy experts as well as officials from the Ministry of Environment and Waters, scholars, professors, environmentalists, nature conservationists and others.

The forum will aim to facilitate dialogue between state agencies and institutions and representatives of the European Parliament and present them with the issues stressed by the European Commission and nature conservationists alike. The event also aims to forge greater co-operation between non government environmental organisations, scholars, energy producers and the general public.
