One Life Charity's Annual Football Sixes' Event coming up

One Life Charity will hold its Annual Football Sixes' Event at the National Sport Academy (NSA) in Sofia on June 20 2009, the organisation said on June 17 2009.

Teams should send the names of their players by 4pm on Wednesday, June 17 2009. So far 16 teams have applied for registration.


Registration time is set for 10am and the kick off is scheduled for 11am. Finish time is expected to be 6pm. Teams are encouraged to wear their own make of (company's) t-shirts.

Each team should consist of six players (five on field plus goal keeper) plus a maximum of two substitutes. The teams will play a round-robin and the top two from each group is to go to the quarter-final stage. Three points will be awarded for a win and one point or a draw.

The participation fee for each team is 500 leva.

Prizes will be awarded to the winners and runners-up. All proceeds help to alleviate children’s disease and disability in Bulgaria.
