"Except for Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) and a few other political parties, everyone buys votes," MRF leader Ahmed Dogan was quoted as saying by Bulgarian daily Dnevnik.

According to Dogan, MRF and the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) did not buy votes because they enjoyed a stable electorate, Dnevnik said.

"We have much evidence about other political parties, but we won't show it," Dogan said.

Dogan said he was pleased with the election outcome for his party. "At a time when there are not that many active voters, to get 350 000 votes is no small feat," Dogan said.
