Violin virtuoso Nigel Kennedy and his quintet are to arrive in Bulgaria for a concert on June 15.

The concert will take place in National Palace of Culture (NDK) hall 1, where the quintet will play compositions from their new album entitled A Very Nice Album.

"I am really happy to be back in Bulgaria again. Your country is not only beautiful in natural resources, it has a special atmosphere, soaked in the spirit of art. People are warm and sensitive to music and they definitely make me feel at home," Kennedy was quoted in a media statement from organisers Art BG as saying.

The Nigel Kennedy Quintet consists of Krzysztof Dziedzic on drums, Adam Kowaleski on bass, Piotr Wylezoł on piano, Tomasz Grzegorsk on saxophone and Nigel Kennedy on electric violin.

Tickets for the concert cost between 30 and 80 leva at the ticket office of NDK and via the Eventim ticket offices.
