Earth tremors shake Bulgaria

Earth tremors measuring about 3.3 and four on the Richter scale occurred at 5.13pm and 5.29pm, respectively, on May 24 2009. The epicentre was about 160km south west of Sofia.
 
This is according to Bulgarian Academy of Science data.
 
No injuries or serious damage was reported. 

A further light tremor was felt in Sofia about 7.20pm. First reports from the Academy of Science were that the earthquake had been about 5.2 on the Richter scale. It was felt in several parts of southern Bulgaria and reports were that its epicentre was outside Bulgaria.

Light tremor registered in Macedonia

A tremor with a strength of 3.7 on the Richter scale was registered in the morning of August 19, European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said.
