Bulgaria v Ireland tickets update

Borislav Mihailov, president of BFU

The Bulgarian Football Union (BFU) has set the latest pricing range for the tickets of the upcoming crucial World Cup Qualification match against Ireland, scheduled to take place on Sofia on June 6.

The cheapest tickets will be for sections B and G (the two terraces behind the goals), priced at six leva. Section V (opposite the main stand) is priced at 12 leva, and tickets for the main stand itself (section A) are at the whopping 20 leva.

Kick off is at 8.30pm on the national stadium Vassil Levski in Sofia city centre.

Ticket prices for the qualification match against Italy in October 2008 were the same for the main stand and V section, but the two terraced were priced at eight leva.

"We call upon Bulgarian fans to congregate on the stadium and support the team in this crucial game. It will be a real honour for the Bulgarian players to play before a packed ground," the BFU statement reads.
