On the day that Sofia was to open its new metro line, connecting the centre of the city with the Mladost 1 borough, public transport passengers found that some of the buss-lines had changed.

Changes were announced with laminated yellow paper sheets, attached to busstop signposts.

Bus lines that changed routes include the 306 in the direction of the centre, the 113, and busses 3 and 5 that link Sofia to nearby villages. The new routes lead these busses past the Mladost 1 metro station.
