Kicking off on one of Bulgaria's national holidays, May 6 St. George's Day, the Lovech Party Fest 2009 features a line-up that will draw hardrockers to the north-Bulgarian town.

The fest starts with an all-Bulgarian line-up of BTR and Solaris. In 2006 BTR opened for Slade at Lovech, while Solaris opened for WASP in 2008. According to a media statement from the festival, BTR was preparing a special surprise for their Lovech concert.

Solaris was expected to present its new guitarist as well as a set around their upcoming album Domain of Dreams.

Before heading of on a Russian festival tour in June with the Scorpions, Alice Cooper and The Rasmus, German rockers Kingdom Come with frontman Lenny Wolf will hit Lovech on May 9. The band will perform songs from their 2009 Magnified album, along with older hits.

The same night, German rockers Bonfire will perform on the same stage.

The next night, May 10, American American heavy metal and hard rock band Dokken are to perform, with ska and punk rock support act Svetlyo and the Legends.
