Three Bulgarians arrested when Dutch police uncovered hemp farm

A 20-year-old Bulgarian was arrested on the evening of March 30 in the Dutch town of Blerick when police found several bags of hemp plants on the back seat of his car.

According to local media, the bags contained a total of 295 plants. The vehicle was impounded and driver arrested.

After the arrest, police uncovered a hemp plantation in a house in the the nearby town of Steyl, where a further three suspects, including a further two Bulgarians, were arrested.

Inside the house, police found a working plantation where plants had recently been harvested.

The plants and equipment had been impounded and would be destroyed, local media said.

it is really boring to read all over again about Bulgarians commiting different crimes abroad ... what else can this nation do except being involved in pickpocketing and drug smugling all over the world ?

ONE THIRD OF BULGARIAN SCHOOL CHILDREN TRIED DRUGS THIS YEAR

One third of Bulgarian school children in the 9th to 12th grade have at least once tried narcotics in the past year. Compared to data from 2003, the number of school children who have tried some kind of drug, has increased with 6 per cent, Momchil Vasilev of the head of the National Focus Centre said. Between 35 and 40 000 school children have tried cannabis in the past 30 days. Around 15 to 20 000 of them use on a regular basis, Vasilev said.
