Palin and stuttering

I enjoyed your article "Peripatetic Python" about the fascinating life and career of actor Michael Palin.

Following the international protest by the stuttering community after A Fish Called Wanda, Palin definitely has been a hero of the stuttering community by founding The Michael Palin Centre for  Stammering Children (www.stammeringcentre.org) in1993.

I routinely recommend the website of The Michael Palin Centre to parents of children who stutter because it has invaluable information on the treatment of childhood stuttering, in addition to being at the forefront of research into childhood stuttering.

Also, I want your readers to know of another great website  for information on stuttering. The website of The Stuttering Foundation (http://www.stutteringhelp.org) has streaming videos, downloadable brochures, and a host of other valuable resources for adults, children and parents.

The stammering center has done a great job, Ive been following them for a while and Michael Palin is great,I like everything he has brought to stuttering including his "Wait wait, ive not finished yet" program.
