Neo-classic office building opens in Plovdiv centre

A brand new office building in neoclassic style has been completed and granted necessary permits to commence business in the centre of the old town of Plovdiv.

The new building is in close proximity to the  Suedinenie Square, perched on the north side of the pavement and Sixth September boulevard, across from the wedding reception hall in Plovdiv.

The new building has been built in accord and harmony with surrounding structures in this old and beautiful part of the old town. It is in elegant old neoclassic style, which is the predominant style in the old town of Plovdiv.

Structurally,  the building has two spacious floors above ground level, succeeded by two attic storeys and a large basement, all of which add up to 1280 sq m gross built area. A capacious, tall and open reception lobby is positioned on the ground floor, from where a round panoramic lift and a large staircase lead to a network of offices, with the actual offices being positioned on either side of the central staircase and hallway.  On the first  floor, amongst the offices are shops of over 100 sq m in area. On the next three floors are more offices and the two attic levels house two-level apartments with a panoramic views of the old town of Plovdiv.

The main investor in the project was HBC – Commerce Plovdiv. The design was the brainchild of KoB Proekt, led by chief-architect Konstantin Bozkhov. The company responsible for the main construction was Mig Engineering, with Consultant Engineering Group as the consulting and supervising company. .

Architect Bozkhov said that he was inspired for his ambitious project by the beautiful, elegant and practical structures in Vienna, which served for the model of his neoclassical architecture.

Rent for the luxurious offices and stores in the building start at 21 euro a sq m.
