Four people claiming to be victims of police violence on the first day of a series of protests on that started January 14 2009 were to meet with MPs from the internal security and public order committee on January 23. New protests are scheduled for January 21 2009 outside Parliament, starting at 3pm. The protests are organised by university students and are also supported by environmentalists and farmers. All three groups have staged repeated protests against the Bulgarian authorities.

Iam sorry but as the uncle of michael shields I look at the picture and wonder how meny of the policemen in the picture are curupt thugs like those policemen who arrested michael and were prepared to see an 18 yr old be sent to prison for 10yrs for a crime they knew he did not commit its not a pay rise they need its a long prison sentence,
