Warehouse and logistics complex in Sevlievo nears completion

A large storage, administrative and logistical centre in Sevlievo, complete with an exhibition area, is near completion. The centre is constructed by Mira N on the motorway between Sofia and Varna opposite the Ideal Standard Bulgaria factory and will cover a 22 ha area, Stroitelstvo Gradut reports.

The project was created by architectural company Vulevi. The chief consultant company is Nadzor Expert ET.  The investment required for the construction alone has exceeded four million euro. The storage facilities consist of 6060 sq m in area, whereas the administrative centre is multi-functional with large compartments designated for office space, 780 sq m in area.

On the east side of the main complex there is a restaurant and a cafe. On the second floor there are spaces for more offices and a large conference hall.

There is also a spacious two storey wing designated for exhibition purposes, which will exhibit goods and services offered by the investor. The complete structure encompasses 8400 sq m in area and is made of steel, aluminium and glass. The facility comes with a large parking lot at the front.

Old military barracks area to turn into new Government centre

A Government centre will be built on the area near the fourth km of the Tsarigradsko Chaussee Boulevard, known as the Poligona ("the range") neighbourhood, the Cabinet decided at its July 17 session. The land plot, used in the past to house a military unit and its barracks, is state property and is managed by the Bulgarian Defense Ministry. The Government centre would spread on 60ha, Defence Minister Nikolai Tsonev said after the Cabinet meeting, as quoted by Dnevnik daily. The initial plans envisions the construction of administrative buildings, hotels, residences for diplomats and sports centres.
