'No to Turkey in the EU'

Photo:

Ultra-nationalist Ataka party decided to mark Bulgaria's national holiday on March 3 with its traditional march in Sofia's downtown, which ended with a rally outside Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. Ataka leader Volen Siderov was driven on top of a small truck, cheered on by the crowd of Ataka supporters.

One of the main slogans raised at the rally was to keep Turkey out of the European Union. Bulgaria was liberated from more than five centuries of Ottoman rule in 1878 as a result of a Russo-Turkish war.

Is Ataka aware that what kind of liberation are they celebrating? Ofcourse not. Not only ataka but all ultra-nationalists don't know anything about the world and life. I am just smiling to them.:)

Ataka is right, just like the majority of the EU contries, including Germany. Turkey should stay out of EU, anyway should get the
status of a "privileged partner", offered by Ms Angela Merkel.
Most people see in Turkey the potential biggest member of EU with more negative sequences than
positive such for the rest of Europe.
