Greek farmers continue disrupting traffic on Bulgaria-Greek border
All three border checkpoints between Bulgaria and Greece have suspended operations because of road blockades by Greek farmers on the Greek side, Bulgarian border police said on January 26 2009. Talks between Bulgarian and Greek authorities are continuing, so that at least part of the traffic to will be allowed to move,

Recently in the UK it came to a stand-still with 2 inches of snow......running out of grit and schools closed on the "forecast" of some snow!!!!!!! Most people in towns were snowed in, let alone outlying villages!
We are ex UK residents and we have noticed that Bulgarians do not use Grit on there roads to help give grip to vehicles? nor do they clear all roads as a result we have been snowed in...
