Bulgarian tennis players Grigor Dimitrov and Todor Enev won the men's doubles event at the US F2 Futures tennis tournament, taking place in Hollywood, Florida, from January 19 to 25 2009. Dimitrov and Enev champed the final with a straight two-set victory (6-1, 6-2), thus winning the clay tournament, which has a prize money of US$10 000.

In the singles event, the win went to Serbia's Nikola Ćirić.

The tournament is part of the ITF Men's Circuit, which provides entry to professional tournaments, enabling players to eventually reach higher-level competitions on the ATP Tour.

Dimitrov's and Enev's participation is part of the Bulgarian tennis team's US tour. Before their win in Florida, the two lads failed to reach the final of the first tournament of the US series in Boca Raton, Florida.

The next event in which the Bulgarian tennis team will take part is the US F3 Futures in Plantation, Florida. The event will last from January 26 till February 1 2009 and it, too, has $10 000 in prize money. Of all the Bulgarian players, Dimitrov is the only one seeded for the tournament.

Dimitrov made the news in 2008 after winning the junior events at Wimbledon and at the US Open; he is currently ranked 493 in the world, while Enev is 746th.
