Heroin worth two million leva confiscated at Kapitan Andreevo

More than 23kg of heroin was confiscated at Kapitan Andreevo check-point on the border with Turkey, during a search by the border police, Bulgaria's Interior Ministry said on January 10. The drugs were apprehended from a vehicle with Dutch registration, travelling from Turkey to Holland.

The drugs were in 40 different packages, concealed in a specially designed compartments within the vehicle itself, the ministry said, adding that the drugs were estimated to be worth in excess of two million leva.

The 42-year-old driver, who hails from Holland, has been apprehended and is due to face charges.

Every day there's news like that where BG catches drugs going to Europe. We are in that location for better or worse!

A simple "thank you" would do, as opposed to all that venom I see here when a Bulgarian is implicated in something... sick and tired of westerners using those facts to justify their natural racism...
